PLLI - INFORMATON FROM A.I.I.E.A

The Following is the Information
received from A.I.I.E.A

" We received Information from the Current in Charge that
LIC  Board cleared  2 % PLLI  at  the  Corporate Level. The 
Bench Mark of LIC  is  to  be attained  by  many divisions. 
You are aware that as per the present PLLI where the 
Division does  not  cross the bench mark on its own, 
they  get 50 % of  Corporate  Level  PLLI. Other 
Divisions which  do  better  than the  Corporate Performance
will  get  a  Higher PLLI

HOW TO CALCULATE PLLI?

(Pre Revised Basic Pay + DA + FPA) as on 01.08.2007 * 12 * 2 %

Percentage will vary according to the Division.

A Sample Calculation.

Let us calculate with the assumption of 2 % PLLI


Pre Revised Basic Pay as on 01.08.2007 = 16,925.00
DA  as on 01.08.2007                                 =   4,691. 61
FPA                                                              =      nil 


Total  Salary  =  21616 * 12 = 2,59,392 
2,59,392 * 2 % =  Rs 5,187.84
