gives it Report on LIC Act Amendment Bill. It says the Capital of LIC
can be increased to Rs 100 Crores but Government alone should give and even

Parliament Approval. The Report categorically told that the Public Sector
Character of LIC must be preserved. The Report also said Government Guarantee
to LIC should not be withdrawn and the
sharing of 95 % Surplus to
Policy holders must continue. The unanimous Report by the Parliamentary Standing Committee of Finance
